We recently had the privilege of joining several vendors for a wedding event at one of our favorite local venues, Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm. This property is overflowing with unique history and New Mexican charm, nestled in a beautiful setting full of lush gardens and rows of lavender. Los Poblanos is truly a dreamy wedding locale and we are thrilled whenever our couples choose to be married there!
This event featured several local vendors who came together to set up vignettes for prospective brides to peruse. We were lucky enough to be teamed with Amy of For the Love, a wedding and event planning company that never fails to create truly unique and inspiring events, full of personal, hand-crafted details. Amy is also an amazing florist in her own right and has assisted us in several of our own weddings, so we always look forward to working with her.
For this display, we wanted to tap into our wilder side of design to really showcase what we are capable of. We utilized a variety of non-traditional elements such as pomegranates, eggplants, grapes, and proteas, mixed with classic favorites like garden roses, ranunculus, dahlias, and tulips. We chose deep and moody colors with just a hint of white to speak to the traditional bride. We love the way everything came together with Amy's tablescape details and Caitlyn Ottinger's beautiful photography, and we think that some of the most inspired, original work happens through artist collaboration.
